This is the age of rocket. None likes to waste time. So journey by boat has been a matter of fancy (কল্পনা রুচি). So we took fancy to go to my maternal uncles house by boat

Time and Place: It was later autumn. Father hired a boat. We started from Ambarnagar. It was a Thursday. We set sail at 2.00 PM.

Water was much below the roads and meadows (মাঠ), One boatman propelled (ছৈ দিয়ে নৌকা বাইলো) the boat and the other rowed (গুণ টানলো), First we moved to the west. After an hour it turned to the south. At 4 P. M. we reached Chaumuhant, a famous business centre. It was a market to visit. However we did not get down from the boat. We passed the market. The sun was getting red. The fields on both the sides of the sudharam khal were filled with greens. The boat moved on mild waves (ঢেউ). There were no jerkings (ধাক্কা জনিত আলোড়ন) but mild movements (আলোড়ন). The boatmen sang bhatiali and murshidi. The reddish colour fell on the greens. The scenery became very charming We went on. We were observing the sight. We reached Hasanpur. The boat gave a gentle jerk. The boatmen pitched the boat and told us to get down. We got down but could not say whether it was night or day. We found big white ball on the eas horizon (দিগন্ত রেখা).

Joys: Now I like to say what I got from the journey the movements of the boat and the songs of the boatmen moved (আন্দোলিত করলো) my heart. The reddish green attracted (আকর্ষিত করলো) my eyes. I was lost in the beauty of nature. I cannot describe IL. My heart even now leaps (নাচে) with pleasure. It had been a permanent source উৎস) of joy to me. I can only feel the words of poet Words Worth:

"I and gazed but little thought.

What wealth the show to me had brought"

Conclusion: Actually a journey boat is very charming and enjoyable. refreshes the mind. One should have a journey at least once a year.

The Pleasure Derived: The train ran at a full speed. It seemed that the souses and the trees on both sides were running backword. The whited and golden Jeid and cannals and rivers between the greens was running by turn. After sunset the lights of various colours of stations and nearest towns also ran way like the above. A Journey by Bus (বাসে ভ্রমণ)

Introduction: A journey by bus is very interesting. It is smaller than a train. But runs almost as fast as a train. It has limited seats. So there is no such a vexing (বিরক্তিকর) rush of passangers as that of a train.

Description: In the summer vacation. I wished to visit my friend in Chittagong. It was sundy. I got into a mini-bus speed of about forty kilometres per hour. The driver sat at the right hand front seat. He drove the bus. A conductior collected the fare and gave tickets. A helper started and stopped the bus at certain place by slapping (থাপড় মেরে) the body. The bus touched a few stands. Some passengers got down and again some passengers got into it. The bus stopped at Chittagong bus-stand at 6.30 Р. М.

Pleasure: The bus ran in a zig zag (আঁকা বাঁকা) way there were plants, trees and the green field on both sides of the bus. It seemed that we were sitting on our seats in a standing house. But the trees, houses and green fields were running backward. The bus ran along the Biswa Road and raised mild movements (আলোড়ন). It seemed it was leaping. Our bodies too leaped. The driver fitted cassettes of various songs and music charmed (মোহিত করলো) us. The music and the movements inside the bus and the unique beauty outside it gave us immense (অপরিসীম) pleasures.

Abuse: The journey by bus is more expensive (ব্যয়বহুল) than any other journey There is apprehension (ভয়) of accident. Often the conductors behave rudely with the passengers. Some buses stop on the road where it finds a passenger.

Conclusion: A journey by bus will be more interesting when the roads are well-built, the conductors are gentle and all the drivers are honest.
