The Fruits of Bangladesh (বাংলাদেশের ফল)
Introduction: Allah has favoured us with the Monsoon, rivers and canals. fertile soil and natural beauty. So various fruits grow in plenty (প্রচুর পরিমাণে). They are generally juicy, delicious (সুস্বাদু) and nutritious (পুষ্টিকর) Every house has some fruit tress. In north Bangladesh some people have big orchards (ফলের বাগান), in south Bangladesh there is the Sundarbans
Description: The Mango: Ours is a land of mangoes. Every house of Bangladesh has some mango trees. More mangoes grow in North Bangladesh. But the mangoes of Rajshahi. Dinajpur. Bogra and Pabna are plenty and famous for their sweet taste. The mangoes such as Fazli, gopalbug, Lengra, Sureswar have sweet flesh and flavour (স্বাদ). They are delicious (সুস্বাদু) People, all over the world, are fond of the mangoes of Bangladesh.

The Jack-fruits: The Jack fruits are the biggest of all the fruits. They have prickly (কাঁটাযুক্ত) skins. There are many flakes Inside the skin, these are juicy and sweet. Some jack-fruits weigh a few kilograms.
Bananas: Bananas are also found in almost all the houses of Bangladesh. They grow throughout the whole year. Baside their thin skin the whole body is eatable (খাওয়ার যোগ্য) There are many kinds of bananas in Bangladesh, such as chanpa. Bangla. Sabri Kabri. Kanaibashi, Sagar etc. Sagarkalas are the best and biggest of all.
Coconuts: It is a kind of wonderful fruit. A coconut has a ropy thick skin and a big shell inside the skin. There is much water in the shell. Coconut's cell grows in the shell. It is very tasteful and nutritious. The water of the green coconuts is very useful for stomach disease. They grow in plenty in south Bangladesh. It grows all the year round.
Fine-apples: It is a summer fruit.grows well in the old districts of Comilla. Sylhet. Chittagong. Chittagong Hill Tracts, Mymensing. Dhaka, Pabna, Bogra. Fine apples are juicy. They have sweet flavour with a bit sour taste.
Other fruits: Oranges, lichis, black berries (জাম) dates, melons (তরমুজ), guavas, papaws, lemons (লেবু বাতাবী) etc, grow in plenty in Bangladesh.
Conclusion: Fruits play a very important role in our life. We get proteń. carbohydrate and vitamins from them. They prevent diseases too. So we should ry to grow more fruits.
The Flowers of Bangladesh (বাংলাদেশের ফুল)
Introduction: Flowers are source of beauty. They add beauty to the nature. Most of the flowers have sweet scent. Allah loves beauty and cleanliness. Ashis best creation men also like beauty and cleanliness. This is why the beauty and fragrance of flower charm (মোহিত করে) us.
Description: Bangladesh is a fortunate country to have the the majority of the flowers of the world. The rosé, the marigold (গাঁদা), the champa (চাঁপা), the bakul, the gondharaj, the rajanigondha, the sheuli, the krishnachura, the palash, the karabi. the jaba, the kadam, etc, are the main flowers. Besides, there are hundreds of flowers in jungles and forests of Bangladesh.

Honey is a good drink and a medicine for some disease we can earn money by selling honey
Conclusion: Most of the people of our country are poor. They can not earn their livelihood (জীরিকা) by the sweat of their brow (গায়ের ঘাম পায়ে ফেলে। They do not have time and plage to grow floweres. They can not enjoy the beauty and fraugrance of flowers. Such condition should not run on We shall have to discover and invent the ways and means to develop our lot
The Rainy Season (বর্ষাকাল)
Introduction: There are six seasons in Bangladesh. The Rainy season is the second season of the year.
Description: This season consists of the months of Ashar and Sraban. In reality it begins from the month of Baisakh and continues up to the month of Octover That is this season lasts for eight months It starts with the storms of Kal Baisakhi and ends with light continual showers of Kartic in the month of Chaitra the ponds pools, tanks canals and even some rivers dry up During this season it often rains in torrents somewhen with heavy showers. The sky remains cloudy Rain water fills every thing to the brim (কানায় কানায় ভর্তি হয়). Thunder crashes and lightning flashes Roads and lanes and even the villages go under waters.
Usefulness: Of all the seasons the rainy season is the most useful' It does good tus in various ways it supplies water to all living beings to the fields and gardens ghes life to dying grasses plants and trees and refreshes the souls It makes the country green prevents her from getting deserted, makes the canals and rivers navitable Almost all the crops grow fruits grow and ripen and flower bloom in this ason The country becomes beautiful. Fishes grow in a large number. Fishes are caught and exported during this season. This season gives facilities for transfoitation (আনা-নেওয়া) of commodities and helps trades and commerce It helps the generation of hydro-electricity So this is the season of life and wealth.
Abuses or Demerits: Due to excessive rainfall floods take place and storms blow Roads become muddy People cannot move freely Snakes and some other Insects take shelter in houses and bite men.

The Postman
Introduction: The postman is a government employee. But he is an He is more than a publie. The public knows him as their own man.
Description: The postman is a low paid servant (চাকুরে). He puts on uniform. He carries a bag of lather or cloth in his hand or in arms or the shoulder Lather parcels money orders, money etc are kept in the bag. He wes from house to house and door to door with if He delivers them to the person dresse Do (প্রাপক).
His duties: Generally the postman helps the post master. He helps the ernment and the society ton. He stamps the letters, sorts the letters eels and money orders and deliver them to addressee (প্রাপক) He realises postal es of bearing letters and sells post cards, envelopes etc. He is an obedient (অনুগত) and deutiful man. The Farmers of Bangladesh (বাংলাদেশের চাষী)
Introduction: Bangladesh is an agricultural country She is not rich in nineral (খনিজ) wealth. Hence she is to depend on agricultural wealth. This is why about 80% of the people of Bangladesh are farmers.
Description: Bangladesh is a very poor country Perhaps, it is the second iensely populated (জনাকীর্ণ) country of the world. In an area of 1 43.000 square Jometres about twelve crores of people live. Their lives depend on agriculture. But Wery farmer had got about 50 acre of land on an average Most of the farmers have small amount of land. Some rich have land but most of the labours have no land of their own. About 10% of the farmers have land to cultivate (চাষ করা) About 50% of them sell their ploughs and labour to others the rest have not bulls or cows and ploughs. They sell their labour
Their Condition: The farmers of Bangladesh are the worst sufferers (কষ্ট প্রাপ্ত) Farming depends on rainfall (বৃষ্টিপাতা) But some when rain does not come in time Sometimes it comes early. So agriculture in Bangladesh has been a gambling (জুয়া-খেলা) Again one year it is drought (অনাবৃষ্টি-বৃষ্টিহীন) The other is over rained (অতিবৃষ্টি। More over, India has erected (নির্মান) dams over almost all the rivers. Again their government opens the gates when it rains excessively (অতিরিক্ত), Hence floods occur frequently and damages crops, takes away some lives and destroys houses. For this reason our farmers are becoming poorer everyday. Now the farmers cannot eat regularly They cannot feed their cows and bulls The cows and the bulls are becoming weaker. Introduction: The name of our school is adampur High school. It is in district of Sylhet.
Description: It is not a very old school It is a non-government institution (প্রতিষ্ঠান) It is on a land of 2 acres. It has two houses. One on the north side and the other on the east side it is an L sized house It is a tin built house but the floor is pucca. There are ten rooms in the school. Seven Yooms are used for class-works, ane room for elective subjects One room is for the teachers waiting and the rest for the Headmaster and the office We still need five rooms more One for students common room or assembly Hall one for the girls exclusively, the others are for laboratories. library and the clerk to sit in with his official records. The school has a big open field in the front. We have sufficient light and air Teachers and taught There are about four hundred students in our school.
About 97% are Muslims. The rest are Hindus. We have twelve teachers. Our headınaster is a very experienced (অভিজ্ঞ) old man. The clerk is not a graduate. There are seven trained (প্রশিক্ষণ প্রাপ্ত) teachers in our school The rest are untrained graduates They are very affectionate and teach us with much love and care.
Extra Curricular Activeities (পাঠ্যবহির্ভূত কার্যক্রম): Debates extempore speeches (উপস্থিত বক্তৃতা) music and other cultural activities (সাংস্কৃতিক কার্যাবলী) are encouraged regularly A few games and plays are held in suitable time (সময় মতো Foot ball game is played almost throughout the year A fortnightly wall magazin (দেয়াল পত্রিকা) is published regularly Almost all the teachers take much care in these respects.
Results: The results in the Junior Scholarship Examination and the SSC Examination are good Every year some one attain scholarship and more than five candidates pass the SSC Examination in the first division.
